These conditions cover the OwnerBuild OS website itself — browsing it, sending us your email address, and anything you post or submit. What you buy is covered by the Terms of Use; the responsibility you take on as an owner-builder is covered by the Owner-Builder Agreement & Oath.
You may read this site, use its free resources, and share links to it. You may not copy the site or its material for republication, scrape it, probe it for vulnerabilities, interfere with its operation, or use it to break the law or infringe someone else's rights.
Where a purchase gives you a login, keep it to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has your credentials. We may suspend access that is being shared or resold.
When you ask for the checklist or another free resource, you are giving us permission to send it and to follow up with related material about owner-building. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect anything you have bought. The Privacy Policy explains what we store and who processes it.
If you post a comment, ask a question in a community space, or send us a photograph, keep it lawful and civil, and do not send anything confidential to someone else or anything you do not have the right to share. We may remove material or end access where this is not respected.
We work to keep this site accurate and current, but construction rules, prices, and market conditions change, and pages can go out of date. Content is provided for general information. Verify anything that matters for your project against your building department, your licensed professionals, and your own numbers.
Where we link to a supplier, an agency, a tool, or an article, we do not control that site and are not responsible for it. Links are not endorsements of everything on the other end of them.
We do not promise the site will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend, or retire parts of it. Where a change affects something you have paid for, the Terms of Use govern.
Site content belongs to OwnerBuild OS unless credited otherwise. If you believe something here infringes your copyright, email hello@ownerbuildos.com with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears, and we will look into it promptly.
We may update these conditions; the date at the top shows the last change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
